She's back here again with the two drakes and they have forgotten. I wish I could.
If the drakes are still fertile she could produce another brood. I hope she doesn't.
I wish I had forced them into a carrier and taken them myself.

Would you believe it, those ducks are back. Just as I was going out of the back door for a breath of fresh air she arrived on the step begging for food. Huh! When can a rabbit have his garden to himself!

How dreadful. I admit that if I had met a duckling, it might not have survived the encounter. But, if I try to think of them as kittens, I can empathise with the tragedy.

Harvey we are all very sad that you lost your little Harvey Ducklings. Nature is very cruel sometimes, but never as cruel as humans can be.

Oh dear,
That is so sad. Was it the otters that got them.
They looked like they had such a fantastic time with you in your garden and well - nothing could be better than that.
They will be paddling free now.
